About us
Our story
Who knew a dog could start all of this?*
*In theory.
Jock was a fluffball with a big personality – captivatingly cute, cheeky, and completely irresistible. His impact on our founder was instantaneous – one minute she wasn’t thinking about animals at all; the next, her life revolved around them.
Jock opened her mind to the idea that every species has a story of its own - each one just as full of joy, wonder, and personality as he was. That spark led to something much bigger: a mission to bring nature back into people’s lives by making it as exciting and relatable as the animals we share our homes with. And so, in 2019, On the Edge was born.
Disrupting your view of Nature to change behaviour: We've never been more disconnected from Nature than we are today - both physically and emotionally.
Stories have the power to entertain, inform, and inspire — and that makes them key to shifting how people see and relate to the natural world. At On the Edge, we bring Nature into pop culture with a fresh, human twist, making it feel familiar, relevant, and impossible to ignore. Whether through comedy, music, film, or unexpected collaborations, we tell nature’s stories in ways that connect — and if we can make it the star of the show, we will.
And we don’t just stop at storytelling. All profits go directly toward protecting overlooked species and habitats worldwide. We fund local conservationists and storytellers, pairing them together to raise the profile of Nature’s overlooked and endangered species - the underdogs of the conservation world.

Our values
words we live by
-
All perspectives are welcome; everyone deserves kindness and courtesy. In our world, respect is crucial.
-
Inspiring others to fall in love with nature starts with energy, enthusiasm, and positivity in everything we do.
-
Hopes, fears, ideas, mistakes – we share them all, even when it’s hard.
-
Asking tough questions, pushing and prodding creative concepts, and supporting everyone to do the same – our approach is wild, but we love it
-
Diversity, equality, and inclusion – our attitude towards fairness is the same for the species we protect as it is for the people we work with and alongside.
